Eagle Point–Blue Rapids Parks Council offered historical 2026 Guardians of the Park summer day camps at Pembina Nordic Centre, 7010 Township Road 494, in the Rocky Rapids area of Alberta, near Drayton Valley. The July 7–10 camp was for ages 7–9, with drop-off 8:40–9am and pickup 3–3:15pm. The July 28–31 camp was for ages 10–12, with drop-off 8:40–9am and pickup 4–4:15pm. The older group registration asked for age at the start of camp. Exact 2027 programmes are not confirmed.

Activities included compass navigation, trail exploration, nature crafts, shelter building, outdoor science, games, disc golf, outdoor cooking and tipi time. No previous outdoor experience was needed. Fishing or river activities for older campers were possible additions.

Closed-toe shoes were mandatory; long pants were recommended. Campers brought a change of clothing, rain or cold-weather layers, snacks, lunch and a water bottle, and were responsible for sunscreen and insect repellent. A campfire lunch was provided on the final day or an alternative day. Phones and other electronic devices were not used at camp. Staff needed to be advised about medication required during the day.

Registration required guardian authorization and acknowledgement of the code of conduct. If any health, allergy, medication, school support, behavioural or dietary history question was answered yes, an additional medical, behavioural or medication consent form had to be completed on arrival. Ordinary pickup was restricted to listed authorized adults ages 18+; the form separately allowed alternate emergency pickup contacts over age 16 when guardians could not be reached. Confirm current schedules, registration and individual support arrangements directly with the Parks Council.
