Evans Lake Forest Education Society has published 2027 summer day, overnight, adventure, leadership and family programs at Evans Lake Forest Education Centre, 634 Levette Lake Forest Service Road, Brackendale area, British Columbia, north of Squamish. Its Vancouver address is for mail only, and bus meeting points are separate from the camp property. Contact info@evanslake.com or 604-294-2267 for registration. The programs combine forest education with outdoor recreation.
The 2027 overnight schedule lists Youth Camp, ages 8–12, July 11–16, July 25–30, August 1–6 or August 22–27; Junior Teen, ages 10–14, July 4–9, July 18–23 or August 15–20; and Teen Camp, ages 13–16, August 8–13. Leadership A, ages 14–16, runs July 11–16 or August 1–6; Leadership B, ages 14–16, July 25–30 or August 22–27. The two leadership courses may be completed in either order for the Evans Lake Leadership Certificate.
Outdoor Adventure Kamps are listed for ages 13–16: July 18–23, Garibaldi hiking and white-water rafting; August 8–13, Elfin Lakes hiking and a Howe Sound boat adventure; and August 15–20, Garibaldi hiking and zip-lining. These include demanding multi-day hiking trips, with routes subject to change. The general age policy allows campers who turn the listed age within the calendar year. The rafting activity is an exception: campers must actually be 13 years old at camp. Confirm the specific trip’s equipment and readiness requirements before booking.
The 2027 day camps are for ages 6–12, specifically campers born in 2015–2021. Weeks run July 5–9, July 12–16, July 19–23, July 26–30, August 3–6 (Tuesday–Friday), August 9–13, August 16–20 and August 23–27. Programming runs 9 am–3 pm. Families must select one transport option: Brennan Park Baseball Field, 1009 Centennial Way, Squamish, with 8:05 am drop-off, 8:15 am bus departure and 3:15 pm pickup; or the bottom-of-camp-road junction of Paradise Valley Road and Levette Lake Forest Service Road, with 8:35 am drop-off, 8:45 am bus departure and approximately 3:45 pm pickup. These are transport points. Late campers must make their own way to camp; confirm transport arrangements directly.
All-ages family weekends are July 2–4, July 16–18, August 13–15 and August 27–29, 2027, from Friday 5 pm to Sunday 10:30 am. Cabin bookings require at least four paying people and accommodate up to 11; recreation-hall rooms require two paying people and accommodate four; tents require two paying people and accommodate six. Children age three and under do not count toward the paying minimum. Bring bedding and any infant equipment: cribs, highchairs, change tables and lifejackets for that age group are not supplied. Small children cannot join every activity because equipment or activities may not suit their size or age. Parents supervise children at all times, including at least one adult during scheduled activities. No lifeguard is on duty during family-weekend swimming. Family food service runs from first-night dinner to final breakfast; permitted personal snacks must be nut free and securely stored.
Activities vary by program and include canoeing, paddleboarding, swimming, climbing, archery, hiking, crafts, forest ecology, outdoor living skills, games and campfires. Youth camps do not allow personal food. Dietary needs must be discussed ahead: the operator cannot accommodate no-garlic/no-onion requests or soy allergies including soy lecithin. Family-weekend kitchens are nut aware and gluten aware, with no guarantee of a nut-free or gluten-free facility. Activities generally follow challenge by choice.
Limited-capacity one-to-one inclusion support is available for physical or developmental disabilities, subject to the team matching its skills and training to the camper’s needs and an additional support fee. Contact camp@evanslake.com before booking. Overnight cabin preferences include boys, girls or all-gender options, with transgender campers welcomed in the cabin best suited to them. All campers may choose an all-gender cabin. Cabin types require minimum registration; the operator contacts families about alternatives if a type has low enrollment.
