Ness Lake Bible Camp’s WilderNess program uses a separate ten-acre satellite property on Little Ness Lake, about three kilometres from the main Ness Lake camp northwest of Prince George, British Columbia. This listing covers that Little Ness Lake property, not the main camp’s 23705 Camp Road address. Campers stay in canvas tent cabins with wooden floors, bring their own bedding, and experience a setting without electricity or running water. The program includes Christian teaching and outdoor activities.
Historical 2026 sessions, with numeric ages assessed as of December 31, 2026: Robson Valley Residents Only, ages 8–14, July 6–10; Teen Adrenaline, ages 13–18, July 12–17; Expedition Day Trips, ages 10–13, July 19–24; Boys Adrenaline, ages 10–13, July 26–30; Overload, ages 9–12, August 4–7; Boys Adrenaline, ages 10–13, August 9–14; Teen Expedition Day Trips, ages 13–18, August 16–21. Boys Adrenaline is a boys-only program. Expedition Day Trips and Teen Expedition Day Trips are overnight camps with daytime excursions and nights at the wilderness base; their names do not make them day camps.
The Robson Valley session is restricted to campers from McBride, Valemount, Dunster, Crescent Spur or the areas between those communities. Check-in for that session begins in McBride, followed by transport to camp and back at the end of the week. McBride is a pickup point, not the camp venue. Confirm that session’s specific travel arrangements with the operator.
WilderNess activities include archery, kayaking, swimming, whittling, games, outdoor cooking and fire-building skills. Meals are provided, with opportunities for campers to help cook. Adrenaline sessions emphasize paintball, bow tag and active challenges; the operator supplies protective equipment, markers and paint and welcomes different experience levels. Expedition sessions explore the Prince George area through activities such as hiking, river floats and waterfalls. Programs may sample activities from other wilderness themes, with age and session suitability determining participation.
Standard WilderNess first-day check-in begins at 4:30 p.m.; confirm departure and any special transport instructions for the chosen session. Pack scented items in a separate bag for safe overnight storage. Bring medication in its original packaging, labelled with the camper’s name, and a completed medication administration schedule for the Health Attendant. Discuss dietary and support needs directly. The camp notes limits in staffing, facilities and program capacity, so individual accommodation must be discussed rather than assumed.
These are documented historical 2026 programs, not confirmed 2027 dates or current spaces. The operator’s developing 2027 schedule has conflicting year labels and is not reproduced here. Use the exact session ages, residency and gender rules above, and consult the official website for current registration and future schedules.
