Between Friends Camp Bonaventure is an inclusive summer day camp for children and youth ages 4–17, with and without disabilities. This North Site operates at Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association, 5600 Centre Street N, Calgary.
The historical 2026 program uses age groups 4–7, 8–12 and 13–17. Two-week weekday sessions were June 29–July 10, July 13–24, July 27–August 7 and August 10–21, with no camp July 1 or August 3. Hours were 9 a.m.–4 p.m., with a maximum of two sessions per camper. A Between Friends membership is required. No 2027 sessions have been confirmed in the reviewed sources.
Camp combines themed games, creative play, swimming outings, visiting activity leaders and community field trips.
The 2026 guide specifies a maximum 1:4 staff ratio and does not provide personal support aides. Families must arrange a private aide when a camper needs significant personal care, frequent transition assistance, support for wandering or physical aggression, or specified medical assistance. Aides attend free; campers requiring additional support cannot attend until appropriate arrangements are in place. Contact Between Friends to review individual support needs and current availability.
