Camp Amicus hosts a five-day Monday–Friday overnight summer program at Pioneer Lodge, 32134 Range Road 63, southwest of Sundre, Alberta. This is a Foothills Academy / Amicus program at the lodge. The Calgary school is a bus departure point, not the overnight camp venue.

Published program eligibility is entering Grades 4–12. The technology-free camp builds friendships, independence and social skills, with a 3:1 camper-to-staff ratio. Activities include archery, climbing, swimming, art, sports, horseback riding, low ropes, wilderness skills, campfires and canoeing. Bus transportation is provided from Foothills Academy in Calgary.

Amicus’s general intake criteria also apply: ages 8–18 with primary diagnosed learning disability and/or ADHD, FSIQ or GAI at least 85, participation within 3:1 staffing and groups up to 36. ASD Level 1 must be secondary. Camp does not accommodate parents/aides or regulation needs requiring one-to-one support over half the day. Intake approval is required before registration; the operator determines individual suitability. Incoming Grades 4–12 is the program-specific requirement.

The official website marks summer 2026 complete and says 2027 offerings will be available in December. These are historical 2026 program details; no equivalent 2027 session is confirmed here. Consult the operator for the current schedule and intake requirements.
