Camp Kasota West hosts overnight camps on the west shore of Sylvan Lake at 39161 Range Road 21, Lacombe County, Alberta. Its official directions lead through the United Church gate off Range Road 21, then to the left of the two camp properties at the end of the road. The Calgary office at 3623–2nd Street NW is a mailing office, not the summer venue.
Eligibility in the published 2026 calendar is based on the grade completed as of June 2026: Children’s Camp Grades 1–6, June 30–July 4, July 21–25 and August 4–8; Youth Camp Grades 4–9, July 6–11, July 13–18, July 27–August 1, August 10–15 and August 17–22; Sailing Camp Grades 9–11, July 27–August 1; and Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Grades 10–11 during the three Children’s Camp weeks. Grades are preserved without inferred numeric ages. These historical dates do not confirm a 2027 schedule.
Children and youth choose activities such as crafts, canoeing, field games, nature walks and swimming, alongside camp-wide games, talent shows, campfires and cabin reflections. Archery is not available to campers in Grades 1–3. Discovery Hour includes Christian values through interactive lessons and activities. Campers sleep in cabins with counsellors.
Sailing welcomes beginners and experienced teenage sailors, covering boat handling, rigging, knots and safety when weather permits; it does not provide official sailing certification. CIT campers learn leadership and programming through supervised staff shadowing and practice leading activities. All programs and weekly themes at this venue are combined here. Confirm current dates, eligibility, activity access, accommodations and registration requirements directly with camp.
