Camp Squeah hosts Christian summer overnight, family and leadership programs at its camp property in Dogwood Valley, north of Hope, British Columbia: #4–27915 Trans Canada Highway, Hope, BC V0X 1L3. The camp is owned by Mennonite Church British Columbia. Children of different beliefs are treated respectfully; Bible stories, chapel and Christian teaching form part of the experience. Call 604-869-5353, extension 101, for summer registration. The information below describes historical 2026 programs.

Explorers Mini Camp, ages 6–9, ran July 28–30, 2026, for two nights. The published youth sessions were Trekkers, ages 10–12, July 12–17; Trailblazers, ages 9–11, July 19–24; Voyageurs, ages 13–15, revised to August 3–7; Adventurers, ages 11–13, August 9–14; and Outbackers, ages 12–14, August 16–21. Activities include crafts, swimming, climbing, nature exploration, hiking, drama, team games and archery for the relevant program. Use each named session’s eligibility; the general youth heading is less specific than its dated session table.

Family Camp welcomed all ages July 5–9, 2026, with four nights of accommodation. Families could choose cabins, lodge rooms or RV/tent options, with activities together, adult sessions and age-appropriate children’s programming. Families bring their own bedding. Check-in began at 4 pm, with dinner at 5:30 pm; final checkout was Thursday at 5 pm, with no dinner that evening. The family fee cap applied only to immediate households of children up to age 18 with parents or legal guardians; this fee rule was not an upper age limit for Family Camp.

MUD Crew was for ages 15–17, July 12–24, July 28–August 7 or August 9–21, 2026, combining work projects, service and Christian discipleship. Junior Leadership Training was for ages 15–17, revised to August 3–14, with priority for youth completing Grade 10 before the summer. Servant Leadership Training was for ages 16–17, June 30–July 24 or July 28–August 21, with priority for youth completing Grade 11 before the summer. Applicants for Servant Leadership Training must have a committed relationship with Christ. All leadership applications require three references and approval before registration is complete; selected applicants are interviewed. Grade priorities do not replace the published age requirements.

The operator’s dated August 2026 update delayed Voyageurs arrival to August 3 at 4 pm and Junior Leadership Training arrival to August 3 at 3 pm. These revised dates take precedence over the original August 2 starts. Programming, including off-site activities, was adjusted during the historical wildfire alert. This does not establish a current alert or any 2027 dates. General arrival is 4 pm and pickup 5 pm on the last day, subject to those program-specific changes.

Campers are screened for illness and cannot attend while sick; illness during camp requires pickup as soon as possible. Disclose medical, dietary, behavioural and custody needs in advance. The kitchen is described as nut free. Bring medication in a sealed bag labelled with the camper’s name. Activities follow challenge by choice: attendance is required for supervision, but campers are not forced to perform an activity. One mutual cabin-friend request may be submitted at least five days ahead and is not guaranteed. Phones and other electronic/media devices are not permitted.
