Camp Whitney hosts United Church summer camps at 56218 Highway 646 on Whitney Lake, near Elk Point, Alberta. Its Box 54 address in Heinsburg is for mail. The camp combines an inclusive Christian setting with lake activities, outdoor play, friendship and opportunities to explore faith.

The historical 2026 youth sessions were Scampers for ages 6–8 on July 6–10, Primary for ages 8–10 on July 12–17, Junior for ages 10–12 on July 19–24, and Senior for ages 13–15 on July 26–31. The operator does not specify an age measurement date. 2027 dates are unconfirmed.

Youth campers stayed in cabins with up to five other children and their counsellor. The 2026 programme also offered a sleep-at-home day option across the youth camp ages. Parents could drop off between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. and pick up between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m., with flexibility arranged directly with camp staff. Day participants joined the same cabin groups and received all meals during their day at camp. Confirm session-specific arrival arrangements.

Wild at Whitney was a separate all-ages family adventure on August 3–7, 2026. The operator describes it as an all-inclusive family week with optional programming, lake activities and opportunities to spend time together. Its all-ages eligibility is separate from the youth sessions’ ages 6–15. Confirm family supervision, accommodation and registration arrangements directly with the camp.

Activities include archery, arts and crafts, canoeing, paddleboarding, swimming, nature walks, sports, camp-wide games, singing and campfires. Lake activities are supervised by a qualified lifeguard and responsible counsellors. Daily God Chat explores Bible passages about friendship, teamwork and inclusion. Weather and programme conditions can affect activities.

Mattresses, meals and snacks are provided for youth campers; families bring bedding, toiletries, weather-appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes and other packing-list items. The camp asks youth campers to leave food, money and electronic devices at home. Senior week allows supervised phone access once a day without Wi-Fi. Discuss dietary requirements, support needs, costs, availability and current policies directly with the operator before attendance.
