City of Brooks Kids Summer Camps offered themed day camps for ages 5–12 at JBS Canada Centre, 323 First Street East, Brooks, Alberta. Camp sign-in and pick-up used the Curling Club entrance. The following are historical 2026 details; 2027 programmes are not confirmed.
The 2026 weekly themes were Tales of the Travelling Talisman, June 29–July 3; The Secret Science Society, July 6–10; Legends and Lore, July 13–17; Dino Detectives, July 20–24; Time Capsule Travelers, July 27–31; Camp Once Upon a Time, August 4–7; Mythical Sea Adventures, August 10–14; and Crown and Cape Kingdom, August 17–21. The first and August 4–7 sessions were four-day weeks.
Drop-off was 8:15–9am, with structured activities starting at 9am; pick-up was 4–5pm. Activities included games, hands-on experiments, crafts, outdoor exploration and outings around the city. Pack a nut-free and shellfish-free lunch, two snacks, water, suitable footwear, swimwear, towel and weather protection; no refrigerator or microwave was available.
Families must review the handbook and complete required waivers. Staff cannot provide constant one-to-one support or intensive social and emotional interventions; families needing an aide must arrange support independently before enrolment and discuss requirements with the programme coordinator. Authorized adults should be prepared to show photo ID at pick-up.
