The City of Calgary hosts Arts Ventures summer day camps at North Mount Pleasant Arts Centre, 523 27 Avenue NW, Calgary, Alberta.
The reviewed historical 2026 sessions include ages 7–8 on August 17–21 in Art Studio 2, and ages 9–10 on August 4–7 in downstairs Art Studio 3. Both run 9 a.m.–4 p.m. on their scheduled weekdays. These are separate age groups; families must choose a session that matches their child. No prerequisite is listed for Arts Ventures.
Campers explore painting, drawing, sculpture, clay and mixed media such as fabric arts and papier-mâché. Supplies are included, children take their artwork home, and the day may include supervised outdoor breaks.
Bring lunch, a snack, a refillable water bottle, necessary medication and clothing suitable for the weather. Complete the required participant information and medication forms. Optional post-care requires separate registration and an additional fee.
The venue’s weekly Arts Ventures sessions are combined here. The dates above describe past 2026 camps; no 2027 schedule is confirmed in the reviewed information. Visit the official site and Live and Play catalog for current dates, exact age groups, availability and care options.
