The City of Cold Lake hosts summer day camps at the Cold Lake Energy Centre, 7825–51 Street, Cold Lake, Alberta. The programmes below were advertised for summer 2026. Each session has its own age range and hours; contact the Energy Centre about future seasons and current requirements.
EC Summer Camp: August 4–7, 2026, ages 6–12, 1–4 p.m., in Reid Field House and the outdoor fields. Activities include scavenger hunts, jumbo games, outdoor group games and science experiments. For this programme, bring water, snacks and indoor/outdoor shoes.
Hashtag Camp: August 17–21, 2026, Fitness Room 3. Ages 6–9 attend 9 a.m.–noon; ages 10–14 attend 1–4 p.m. Activities include dance challenges, team games, creative projects, music, movement and performance. This is an in-person activity camp.
Rock Wall Camp: August 24–28, 2026, ages 7–12. Choose a separate 9 a.m.–noon or 1–4 p.m. session at the Energy Centre rock wall. Campers practise bouldering, high-wall climbing and rappelling through drills and challenges.
