Cowichan Estuary Nature Centre offers outdoor nature and science day camps for ages 5–9, with separate 5–7 and 7–9 sessions. Campers investigate tide pools, beaches, mudflats and eelgrass habitats through wildlife learning, games, crafts, experiments and aquarium encounters.
The official page currently describes summer 2026. The 2027 dates, fees and registration are unconfirmed; check the next season with the Nature Centre before booking. Published usual hours are 9 a.m.–3 p.m., with brief arrival and pickup windows and no extended care. Campers must independently eat, dress and use the washroom; discuss accommodations with the organizer. Full or partial bursaries have been offered, subject to application and availability.
