Moose Lake Gospel Camp hosts overnight children’s, junior teen and family camps at its own property, rural address 47311 Highway 660, Moose Lake, Alberta, in the municipality of Bonnyville. Programmes include Christian chapel, worship and learning about God in an outdoor camp setting. These are historical 2026 details; contact MLGC about future dates.

Children’s Camp, July 19–24, 2026: advertised Grades 3–6, with completion of Grade 2 normally expected before camp. The official registration form says a younger child may attend only after the family contacts Executive Director Amber Machado and both agree the child is ready, before registering. A child who has completed Grade 6 may choose children’s or junior teen camp.

Junior Teen Camp, July 12–17, 2026: the dated programme specifies completed Grades 6–9. Its registration form confirms that completed Grade 6 may choose children’s or junior teen camp, and completed Grade 9 may choose junior or senior teen camp according to maturity. Numeric ages are not inferred from grades. Registration is at 3 p.m. on the opening day; final-day pickup is 1–3 p.m.

For children’s and junior teen camps, activities include wide games, campfires, boating, canoeing, trampolines, box hockey, archery and laser tag; junior teens also have beach volleyball and crafts. Bring bedding, a sleeping bag, shower/beach towels, toiletries, warm clothes, rain gear, sandals and running shoes, sunscreen, insect protection, suitable swimwear, a hat and water bottle. Do not bring a cellphone; any brought are kept by the Camp Director for the week. Complete the operator’s registration, health and consent requirements before attending.

Family Camps at the same MLGC property were July 26–August 1 and August 2–8, 2026. These hosted Christian programmes welcome families across age groups: infants 0–2, children 3–12, youth 13–17 and adults 18 and over. Register as a family with an adult registrant; this is a family stay rather than a children-only drop-off programme. The immediate-family price cap excludes adult children aged 18 and over; additional adults register separately.

The family programme includes morning devotions, chapel, afternoon activities, evening services and campfires, with meals on the daily schedule. Families select a cabin, RV site or tent accommodation through camp registration. Confirm accommodation, dietary needs, guardian supervision, activity requirements and current policies directly with MLGC. The youth-camp arrival, pickup and phone rules above should not be assumed to apply to family stays.
