Mountain Adventure School, delivered by HeLa Ventures and Progressive Academy, offers MAS 102 summer day camps from Progressive Academy, 13212 106 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta. The operator identifies this as the Edmonton program venue. Outdoor activities may take students off site during the day.
The historical 2026 five-day sessions ran July 6–10, July 13–17, July 20–24, July 27–31 and August 10–14. A 2027 summer schedule is unconfirmed. MAS 102 is for students who have completed Grade 9. Students must enrol in credit courses to participate.
This is an outdoor education credit program: Phys. Ed. 10 combines camp participation, online modules and an additional 30 hours of tracked activity outside the five-day camp, divided into 15 hours of games and 15 hours of individual activities. Online CALM 20 may be added, but is not required to complete MAS 102. Families should review coursework and deadlines with the operator.
The 2026 guide lists lake canoeing, Class I river canoeing, orienteering, indoor rock climbing, biking, wilderness skills, gymnastics, dance and games. Activities can change for environmental or safety reasons. Teachers and outdoor guides connect these experiences with the course learning.
The optional MAS 102MC Mountain Camp is a separate five-day overnight add-on at the HeLa Ventures Field School in Clearwater County and requires completed MAS 102. This Edmonton listing covers the day program. Confirm current sessions, course enrolment, equipment and readiness with Mountain Adventure School before registering.
