Royal City Soccer Club listed summer soccer day camps at John Ware School field, 10020 19 Street SW in Calgary, Alberta, for its 2026 season. Drop-off was at the back of the St. Benedict Elementary School parking lot, closest to the fields. Families were instructed not to go inside the school or recreation centre. Summer 2026 has finished. The operator says 2027 locations, dates and registration details will be announced in the new year; this venue is not yet confirmed for 2027.
Morning sessions welcomed ages 5–13, from first-time soccer players to competitive players. Campers had to be at least 5 at the start of their camp week. Full-day sessions were also offered, but the operator warns that ages 5–7 may be ineligible at some locations because of pool supervision limits. Confirm full-day eligibility for this venue directly before booking.
Mornings included soccer warm-ups, individual skills, team games, scrimmages and mini Royal Cups. Full-day afternoons added traditional camp games and recreational swimming, with no afternoon soccer instruction. The Palliser page listed Southland Leisure Centre on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; swimming depended on availability and was not guaranteed daily. Lifeguard swim tests, lifejacket rules and pool restrictions applied.
Morning programming ran 9 a.m.–noon; full-day programming ran 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Regular drop-off was 8:30–9 a.m.; pickup was noon–12:30 p.m. for mornings or 4–4:30 p.m. for full days. Additional paid care was available. The Alberta FAQ identified weeks 1–9 of 2026, covering June 29–August 28, with no camp July 1 or August 3. Confirm the particular weeks offered at this venue rather than assuming every week.
Braeside Community Centre was an inclement-weather facility, not the normal camp drop-off. Bring sunscreen, a hat, water, food without nut or peanut products, running shoes and, for swimming, swimwear and a towel.
