The Town of Vermilion hosted historical 2026 Summer Fun day camps at Vermilion Regional Centre, 5702 College Drive, Vermilion, Alberta T9X 1K4, using the dance rooms and southwest entrance. Exact 2027 programmes are not confirmed.
Campers had to be five by July 2, 2026. Groups were ages 5–8 and 9–11; eight-year-olds could be invited into the older group depending on activity difficulty. The programme ran Monday–Friday, July 2–August 21, closed August 3. Core hours were 9am–4pm, with supervision 8am–5pm. Paid early and late options extended this to 7:30am–5:30pm and required arrangements. Daily, weekly and longer attendance packages were offered.
Themes included science, crafts, reading, team challenges and games, with park, library, spray-park and swimming outings. Campers brought nut-free lunch and two snacks, water, indoor and outdoor closed-toe shoes, spare clothes, swimwear and a towel.
Children needing an aide at school had to attend with an aide. Daily medication was signed in with the coordinator in a sealed bag with instructions; the coordinator returned the bag at the scheduled time and the child self-administered. Daily sign-in and sign-out applied; independent travel home required a signed guardian waiver. Confirm current schedules, support arrangements and registration details with the Town.
