UBC Farm offers outdoor summer day camps at the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems, 3461 Ross Drive in Vancouver. Farm Wonders serves ages 6–9 and Forest Wonders serves ages 10–12. Both programs connect children with food systems, nature and environmental stewardship through hands-on activities.
Farm Wonders includes gardening, harvesting, pollinator learning, nature crafts and cooking with farm ingredients. Forest Wonders adds ecological investigations, shelter-building, nature journaling, wildlife identification and team challenges in the farm’s forest and fields.
The usual camp day is 9 a.m.–4 p.m. The operator currently says summer registration is closed and asks families to check back in spring. Confirm the next season’s dates, fees, eligibility and assigned drop-off point directly with UBC Farm. Before and after care is not provided unless specifically advertised.
The farm cannot guarantee a nut-free kitchen. Discuss allergies and any additional support needs before registering; families may arrange for their own support worker to attend.
