UBC Geering Up offers hands-on STEM summer day camps at UBC Okanagan in Kelowna. Its campus program serves participants entering Grades 1–12, with specific grade bands for each theme. Activities include engineering builds, science experiments, coding, game design and creative problem-solving.
Programs are based at UBC Okanagan, 3333 University Way. Families should follow the operator’s instructions for the assigned classroom and pickup point. The usual camp day is 9 a.m.–3 p.m.; optional before and after care has been offered for selected grade groups.
Geering Up’s central camps page announces summer 2027 registration opening in late February. The Kelowna page still displays the previous season’s detailed catalogue, so confirm the new dates, grade bands, themes, fees, bursaries and care options when the 2027 schedule is released. This listing combines themes at the same physical campus.
