University of Alberta Green & Gold hosted its historical 2026 hockey day camps at Confederation Arena in the Confederation recreation complex, 11204 43 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta. The operator used this off-campus venue while Clare Drake Arena underwent renovations.
The Confederation programmes had separate ages 6–8 and 9–11 groups. Explore three-quarter-day camps ran August 10–14, 2026, expecting at least one completed year or season of hockey. Engage full-day camps ran August 17–21 or August 24–28 and required at least one year of competitive minor hockey experience. Participants needed to skate already; these were not introductory skating lessons. Listed groups welcomed all genders unless a course specified otherwise.
Camp combined skating, passing, shooting, puck handling, games and dryland or multi-sport activities. Participants supplied full hockey equipment for ice sessions and appropriate athletic clothing for off-ice activities. Follow the operator’s complete equipment list, including helmet with cage and neck guard. A practice jersey was provided.
Drop-off was 8:30–9:00 a.m. Pickup was 1:45–2:00 p.m. for Explore and 3:45–4:00 p.m. for Engage. Complete required camp information and informed-consent forms before participation and follow authorised sign-out procedures. Confirm current support arrangements, equipment, availability, costs and policies directly with camp staff. Exact 2027 hockey dates, venues and programme eligibility remain unconfirmed.
