The University of Manitoba’s Biomedical Youth Program offers a science summer day camp for students in Grades 6–12. Grade 6 must be completed by June 30 of the camp year. The published 2026 program gives priority to new and previously waitlisted applicants, Winnipeg School Division students, and Indigenous and inner-city youth. Placement is subject to selection and capacity.
Hands-on activities explore medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, rehabilitation and basic science. Daily drop-off and pick-up are at the Brodie Centre Atrium, 727 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg. Activities use Bannatyne Campus and the Niji Mahkwa Inner City Science Centre, with operator transport between sites as needed. Check the official page for future dates and applications.
