YMCA of Northern Alberta hosts summer day camps at Eagle Ridge Community Centre YMCA, Unit 2, 301 Sparrow Hawk Drive, Fort McMurray, Alberta. All weekly programs at this physical venue are combined here.
The official 2026 Eagle Ridge brochure lists Science Explorers and Creative Explorers for ages 6–9; Y Ventures for ages 6–12, grouped with children of similar ages; Esports and Creative Explorers for ages 9–12; and Counsellor in Training for ages 13–15. The CIT program spans two weeks, June 29–July 10, with no camp July 1. These are site-specific bands, rather than the broader YMCA-wide age range.
Activities include hands-on science, creative arts, outdoor play, games and leadership development according to the selected program. Esports uses Nintendo Switch 2 games alongside active and creative activities; previous gaming experience is not required.
The YMCA says children receiving one-to-one support at school must have one-to-one support at camp. Families should discuss required supports and arrangements with the operator; YMCA does not provide additional aides.
