YMCA of Northern Alberta hosts summer day camps at Northside Community Centre YMCA, 6391 76 Street, Red Deer, Alberta. All weekly themes at this physical site are combined here.
The official 2026 Northside brochure gives these exact groups:

Ages 6–9: Creative Explorers, Y Chefs, Science Explorers, Y Skatepark and Y Multi Sport.
Ages 9–12: Creative Explorers, Esports, Y Chefs, Y Cycle, Science Explorers, Y Multi Sport and Y Skatepark.

Activities vary by chosen program and include creative arts, science, cooking, sports, outdoor play, cycling, skatepark activities and leadership. Esports uses Nintendo Switch 2 games with active and creative activities and does not require prior gaming experience. Ask the operator about the chosen program’s equipment and participation requirements.
Children receiving one-to-one support at school must have one-to-one support at YMCA camp. Families should arrange and discuss required support with the operator; YMCA does not supply additional aides.
The program groups above are historical summer 2026 offerings from the official venue brochure. The YMCA has announced February registration for summer 2027, without confirming equivalent 2027 programs, age rules or session dates here. Check the official camp page for updated site-specific details.
