YWCA Edmonton operates Camp Yowochas on Lake Wabamun at Fallis, Alberta. The official map places the camp at the west end of 54 Avenue; follow Range Road 52 south from Highway 16 and the green-and-white camp signs through Fallis. Box 313 is mailing only, and Edmonton’s Percy Page Centre is a bus stop.

The published 2026 summer guide lists overnight Explorers ages 6–7, Discoverers 8–12, Prospectors 13–14, Voyageurs 14–15, Leaders in Training (LIT) 16–17, and Counsellors in Training (CIT) age 17. CIT participants must be 17 by July 1, 2026, submit the application by March 1, 2026, and complete screening. These are historical 2026 details; 2027 dates and eligibility are not confirmed here.

Explorers attend selected five-day sessions in mixed-gender shared accommodations. Discoverers and Prospectors have five-day sessions with gender-specific groups inclusive of campers who identify with those genders. Voyageurs and LIT offer 12-day coed experiences. CIT runs July 27–August 21, 2026, with coed sleeping quarters and a family visiting day. Accommodation and program arrangements should be confirmed for the selected session.

Activities vary by group and conditions and can include archery, canoeing, hiking, challenge courses, games, campfires and outdoor skills. Older campers take part in longer out-trips and leadership development. LIT offers Modern Leaders and Leaders in Wilderness streams; CIT includes first aid and CPR training and supervised shadowing. Waterfront activities depend on current conditions and advisories—confirm availability with camp. Weekly themes at this physical venue are combined in one listing.
